COAD, or Community Organizations Active in Disaster, is a coordinated effort between public and private entities providing support and relief in disaster response and recovery. Faith-based organizations, businesses, individual volunteers, and government and civilian entities alike work together in supporting the region after a disaster challenges Southeast Missouri.
